Today’s Scripture: “I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted. Job 42:2
Job was telling no purpose of God’s could be prevented. When we say that we know the LORD can do all things do we believe it? Do we say it and then go our own way? Seeking our own purpose?
The LORD had just spoken to Job in the preceding chapters about huge land and sea creatures that he could not comprehend and that we still cannot understand thousands of years later.
When will we accept the majesty and mysteries of God? Will we give up on our own understanding and seeking our own purpose? Job was blessed for the remainder of His days because he accepted that he was only human while God was LORD.
Like Job we can ask God questions and He will answer. I pray we seek to know His purposes so we can live out our days serving Him. In His purposes we find purpose and blessings!
Do you trust God’s purposes?
Today’s Prayer: LORD, You are God and You hold all understanding and purpose. Forgive me for seeking my own way. I know You can do all things and Your purposes will be completed. I choose to go Your way and I ask You to answer my questions as to how to live Your purpose. Thank You for promising to answer. Amen
