Today’s Scripture: 1 Corinthians 1:1- Paul, called by the will of Godto be an apostle of Christ Jesus, and our brother Sosthenes,
If you knew you were called by the will of God, as Paul did, would you feel compelled to do it? Right up front, Paul is telling the Corinthians why he is writing to them.
Why do you do what you do? Why are some things more important to you? Interestingly, Paul reminds the Corinthians that what they have been called for will be seen unwise and even foolish and weak to others. But God imparts a secret and hidden wisdom that the world does not understand. We do not have to understand we just have to trust our calling.
I am called by the will of God to encourage you to seek your calling in Him. Do not expect the world or maybe even yourself to understand. Just trust your calling and keep being faithful and your only explanation is that you have been called by the will of God.
Have you been called by the will of God?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for calling me. I trust Your will over all things. I do not understand Your will yet I will remain true to my calling. You have called my heart to search Your Words and to find my calling and Your will in them. Please continue to call me and strengthen me to see You over the understanding of this earth. In You I find my meaning and my purpose. Use me LORD for Your will. Amen
