Today’s Scripture: Psalm 139:23 ESV – Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts!
Do you think we surprise God? Psalm 139 is filled with wonders of God and His intimate knowledge of us that we cannot understand. I am thankful to know He knit me together in my mother’s womb to be who I am. I am not a mistake and He made me to love Him.
No matter where I have run He has been there. Even when I do not look to Him He still knows me and His light is there for me. God knows my heart, my thoughts and my today’s before I do. I am thankful that He has made me to know darkness so that His light shines even brighter for me.
Without darkness, I would not have appreciated the wonder and comfort of God’s light. His ways are too wonderful for me to understand and yet my spirit knows His light.
Do you believe God knows you personally?
Today’s Prayer: Almighty God, Your ways are too wonderful for me. I am so thankful that You know all things and You know me. In Your light, I know You. Knowing You are with me wherever I am gives me comfort and strength. Lead me Father and I pray I live today in the fullness of Your glory and in the way, you have planned. Amen
