God is very present

Today’s Scripture: To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 KJV

 

Come and see what the LORD has done states Psalm 46:8.  I have just experienced God’s presence and trust me He is VERY PRESENT. Through the chaos and raging distractions of life God is there.

 

In Psalm 46 we are told that although the waters of the river of life may roar and foam that God is in the midst of them. Seriously, in my time alone with God this morning, my mind was full of roaring and foaming. I only sought to be still so God could do His work in me.

 

I found that seeking to be still in the midst of the raging that God was very present. I fell to my knees when I realized God brought me here to these words and to His presence.

 

He is in our midst, be still and trust in His presence. He is very present.

 

Today’s Prayer: LORD, I sing Your praises. Thank You for showing me Your presence in the words of Your scriptures and the rivers of my life. LORD, thank You for being in the stillness and in the raging waters of life. LORD I know You are in the midst of the rivers and me. Help me to be still and to invite others to come and see what You have done. Amen
