Today’s Scripture: Draw the spear and javelin against my pursuers! Say to my soul, “I am your salvation!” Psalm 35:3 ESV
Not what we say to the LORD but what He says to us. David was dealing with contention here in Psalm 35. His words remind us to trust the LORD with conflicts.
We must also ask the LORD to speak into our souls and be reminded that He is our salvation. This is the very purpose of Affirmations of God. To ask the LORD to speak into our souls and to say the LORD is our salvation in a very real and personal way.
The LORD and His angels will protect us and contend with what we face. He knows what is going on and He is near, very near. When we ask Him to speak we find joy in our souls.
The LORD knows all about what we are contending with and He delights in us. We can praise Him all day long.
Have you asked the LORD to speak into your soul?
Today’s Prayer: LORD, thank You for speaking into my soul. My soul is joyful in You. I trust You LORD with all that contends against me. I know You O LORD are my salvation and that You delight in me. You know everything that I am facing and You are close. Thank You Father for delighting in me, I will praise You all the day long. Amen

Thank you Heidi, yes HE does. I am thankful too that He places His desires in our our souls so that they become ours. May we delight in His delights to make Him known! Blessings and delight!
I love that He speaks into our souls! Thank you, Tom, and God bless you as He speaks to you today!
Thanks Deb, may we have the yearning heart of David and ask God to speak to our souls. Praying we live what He speaks into us and trust His calling to make Him known with what He Himself has given us! Blessings and soul fruit for you my tireless friend:) Your gift of encouragement is very special.
So true Tom prayer is not only what we say to God, it is what he says to us. Usually what He wants to say is far more important than what we would ask.
Amen Joseph, we do not even know what to ask. What a glorious blessing that the LORD and the Holy Spirit know what we need. Let us listen more than we give lists to Him of what He already knows! We do cry out for others but He knows our needs! Blessings and receiving!
