Today’s Scripture: He said, “But I will be with you, and this shall be the sign for you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.” Exodus 3:12 ESV
Like Moses, we question our ability to do what God is calling us to do. Has God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, who is our God called you to action? He will be with you and it is His power that will complete it.
I find it interesting in this verse that God promises the sign to Moses AFTER he completes what God is calling Him to do. Too often I have been guilty of wanting this sign BEFORE I act on God’s promptings, how about you?
The LORD is calling us and I pray we will act knowing it is strength of the great I AM who is with us. Just as with Moses, the LORD will guide us and give us the words to say because He is with us.
What will you do today knowing the LORD is with you?
Today’s Prayer: LORD, thank You for being with me. Thank You for understanding my lack of confidence. Fill me with Your vision and the confidence to know that it is You with me that will complete Your calling. You are God and I will go where You are calling me to go trusting in Your wonders. Amen

It is so true Tom! I always want the sign before the obedience. But God is always working to build faith in me! I praise His mighty name. For when I have obeyed He has never failed to bring the promised sign!

Amen Bill, LOTS of trouble! May we act boldly knowing He is with us!

I agree Tom! Well put! God doesn’t tell us to do something without equipping us but we need to take the first steps of faith to reach that goal. I think of this verse: “may he equip you with all you need for doing his will…” Hebrews 13:21a

Great reminder Kimberly to remind us that HE has equipped us for what He has called us to do. May we step in faith and trust His will, His provision and His glory!

These affirmations help me remember that it is all of His doing. “It is His power that will complete it.” With that in mind, praying that I step out in faith first, trusting Him to be all that He said He is! God bless you, Tom, as you go with Him today!

Thank you Deb, I pray God uses these affirmations to impress the changes in us He intends! Blessings and boldness in His provision!
