Today’s Scripture: 1 Peter 5:14 NLT Tyndale: Greet each other in Christian love. Peace be to all of you who are in Christ.
Do you have peace in the love, grace and power in Christ?
As I knelt to pray I thought to myself that I only want to write what the Holy Spirit wants written. I felt strangely peaceful. “Oddly” enough as I arose to read His Word my eyes fixed on “My purpose in writing is to encourage you and assure you that the grace of God is with you no matter what happens. (1 Peter 5:12 NLT Tyndale)
The LIVING Word is amazing and the power of God is humbling. Just like Peter, my purpose is to write to encourage you and assure you that the grace of God is with you no matter what! Remember that your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world are going through the same kind of suffering you are.
No matter your past, current of future situation, His grace is sufficient and in Him is peace. Will you accept the peace in Christ?
Today’s Prayer: Almighty Father, You humble me with Your greatness and Your peace. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit that keeps me in Christ. Forgive me when I turn to my flesh and I thank You for drawing me back to You and Your peace. Please keep me in You and in Your peace. Amen

Affirmations of God

Tom, thank you so much for this message today!
Meg, you bless me my friend. Great to hear from you and I praise God for providing this message to you! Blessings and peace in Christ!
I finally get . . . Phillipians 4.7 . . . . for God has given me this peace that I just can’t explain ever since my son passed away last year. It is amazing!!! ~ Blessings ~
Deborah Ann, I am sorry I didn’t know about your son but I am praising God for giving you the peace of Christ. I am sure your finding peace will be a blessing to others as to how His all surpassing love and peace was given to you. Blessings as He guards your heart with His peace!
How do you deal with the superstitious side of your mind when implementing a strategy of positive thinking (vs. negative thinking) and wondering whether or not the thoughts you think actually induce the outcome?
Jason, I am not really sure if this was a personal message to me or whether this was some kind of link to your affirmation site. I have found the further removed from my limited mind I am and seeking the Spirit within, I receive affirmation that I can trust versus something I have created in my limited ability. I trust in the outcome of God versus what I “want”. I want some not so truly beneficial things in the long run but when I affirm something beyond me I find lasting change with purpose. Blessings in your journey in affirmation.
