Today’s Scripture: My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD, and let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever. Psalm 145:21 ESV
Every day I want to praise the LORD just as this psalmist in Psalm 145:2. I want to share how GREAT our LORD is!
My mind and heart goes to my friends and acquaintances that I know just can not buy this God thing, yet. They have not experienced His greatness or have been bewildered by circumstances or misguided people speaking a different gospel.
Psalm 145:13 says our God is faithful and kind. Who would not want to live for and sing for such a God as this? If we meditate on the splendor and wonders of God as suggested in verse 5 would not we find the heart and words of praise? His praise?
Psalm 145:9 states that God is good to all. I trust Him and will praise Him today for what I do know in Him and trust Him with the rest that is unsearchable.
What praises can you speak of the LORD today?
Today’s Prayer: LORD God Almighty I praise Your name today and forever. I am encouraged by Your wonders and Your splendors. LORD, thank You for giving me songs of praise. Help me to sing and give what You have given me. LORD I sing Your praises of faithfulness, kindness, love and strength. You are unsearchable in Your greatness yet I will sing the praise You give to me. Amen

I can praise God because He is more than enough when I lack!

Anything I say would be so “lame”–but I praise Him for His faithfulness, and His Presence that is a balm to my whole mind/body/spirit/soul. That this is just a “foretaste of glory divine”, simply knocks me out–how will we bear the full-meal-deal?! God bless you BIG, Tom–love, sis Cj

I am praising God for a victory in my life. My heart has been heavy for the last week. In John 14 Jesus told his disciples, “Do not let your hearts be troubled.” I was letting fear and control my feelings. Yesterday, I surrendered that fear to God and I felt the load move from me. Interestingly, later that day I encountered the same circumstances and situation that caused my fear and it was not there. Praise God that we can trust our feelings to Him and He will give us the courage to act and respond to His word. Praise God, because Jesus finished the work on the cross, our life does not have to be a struggle but a truth encounter.

Amen Patsy! We can praise God and His name by speaking what He has done for us…over and over. I too praise God for giving you this victory. Your testimony is evidence for those who do not believe. You can share our our God has delivered you. It is finished and I praise God for allowing us to have these truth encounters. Blessings and encounters!
