I know an affirmation should be stated in the positive and not the negative but today I feel so much relief, strength and power in the fact that My God, the God I serve is never weary. Isaiah 40:28 is the source for today’s affirmation.
Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the LORD,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable (NKJ)
Surely we have heard and we do know that He is the God of all creation who created us to be in relationship with Him. Although we seem to forget and tire, it is He who never grows weary and is way beyond our understanding.
It is so easy to rely on our understanding in the moment but we tire or wilt in adversity. But this God, my God never tires. He neither faints nor is weary. Thank God. You have the energy to continue when I run out of gas.
I began this affirmation this morning to write about Isaiah 40:29(which will be an affirmation for another day) which states:
He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.(NKJ).
Yes, God gives me power when I am weak and He makes me strong. I get that and am so thankful. But when I am powerful and strong I have a tendency to rely on that strength and go until I grow weary. Haven’t I heard, don’t I know that HE is the source of this strength and power. Why do I seem to feel this is my power and strength and go until I grow weary? Oh my limited understanding. But I am so thankful that although my strength diminishes that my God’s strength never lessens.
Do you know God never tires? Can you live in this strength?
Can we continue to remind each other when we get off track?
Who’s strength and power are you operating on today?
I pray you find peace today in knowing that Your God never grows weary. He is always strong. He is your strength when you are weak. Not only are we strong in God but we are POWERFUL in a strength that will never grow weary.

I need this one today Tom. Had minor dental surgery yesterday and woke up feeling whipped. But thanks to your Scripture reminder “the spirit is willing.” I am leaning heavily on that today.
