Today’s Scripture: But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. 2 Corinthians 3:16 ESV
We give clues to where we are turned don’t we? Just this weekend I made some ugly statements. As soon as the words came out of my mouth I knew they were wrong. I feel the regret of sounding like, well, sounding like Tom.
When I turn to Tom some ugly things come forth yet when I turn to the LORD the Spirit of this living God comes forth.
The LORD taught me this lesson in real life. That is because He is real and He is life. 2 Corinthians 3 tells us this much. The Spirit of the Living God writes on our hearts. Turning to the Spirit of the LORD what comes out of us is Him.
As stated in verse five we are insufficient. When we turn to ourselves people read condemnation. When we turn to the LORD, we find life and we speak life into others for the Spirit is life.
Where are you turned?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for Your Spirit who writes You on our hearts. Forgive me for when I turn away. I am insufficient and know all of my hope is in You and Your Spirit to give life. My only confidence is in Your Spirit. Help me to stay turned to You constantly. Amen

This is really good Tom. I love that when I turn to the Lord the vail lis lifted and people can see Jesus.
Thanks Ben and Amen. I have to turn to the LORD as on my own they would see the wizard of OZ. LORD use us a Your instruments and show Yourself through our insufficient bodies. Let others see Jesus in us and remove me far.
Amen

Thank you Julie…I sense the anticipation for your blog:)I must turn, turn, turn and I am thankful for His guiding light!
I turned to myself today, too. Ugh. But I love that when we turn to Him, then He will come forth. Praying to turn to Him more and more! Thank you, Tom, and God bless you!
O Deb, my heart too! More and more and more. Blessings in your turns and thanksgivings in His light.
