Today’s Scripture: And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance. Luke 8:3 KJB
We all have something to help bring the Good News to others. This is our “ministry”.
We can serve our Lord and others by giving what we have. Luke 8:1-3 brings to light the many people and gifts that help bring the Good News to others.
In Luke 8:1 Jesus was travelling through cities and villages proclaiming and bringing the Good News of the Kingdom of God. The twelve disciples were with Him too yet how often we overlook verses two and three. Also with them were women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities that ministered to them out of their substance.
What substance do you and I have to minister with? Do we have testimonies? Do we have other means of supporting the Good News of the Kingdom of God? Our ministry is to give what we have.
What do you have to give today?
Today’s Prayer: LORD, I give You what I have. Thank You for the healings and gifts You have given me. I return these gifts to You and others so that the Good News may be heard and found. Thank You LORD for the ministry You have given me and help me to be faithful to help bring Your Good News to others. Amen

Beautiful!!! I don’t know how you see/say so much in such few words. Great post!
Thank you Julie, all glory is His. I am thankful for what He shows me in His word and the impression His Holy Spirit provides. Amazing to me that He can take me to a verse with me thinking I will find something totally different. As you know, getting to fewer words is a sacrifice yet I have total peace that what He removes is mine and what remains is His. That is my prayer that I am removed and His glory is revealed. I so appreciate your confirmation and encourage as I try to be the gift He is giving me. Blessings to your ministry. I know your ministry of encouragement is “enough”:).
One never knows how and where God will use us, we just need to be ready to give our answer of faith to those who ask. ~ Blessings ~
Thank you Deborah Ann and show what He has done for us. I am amazed at the volume of blessings you provide in your writings and I know His Spirit is giving you proof to share with the world of His abundance in where and how He will use us. Many blessings as you “live” your answer of faith for others to see. We are but jars of clay…
