Today’s Scripture: Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 1 John 4:11 NIV
God’s love is perfected in us. I have come to recognize my love and God’s love.
1 John 4:16 describes my experience in my quiet time this morning. “So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.” (ESV)
I have come to know AND BELIEVE the love God has for me. I know when I am operating from my worldly love or from the love of God, the evidence is clear.
I have found and witnessed that 1 John 4:15 proves true. If we confess that Jesus is the son of God in love, we can live in His love. We can live in God because He lives in us. When we live in and from God, His love is perfected.
Have you come to know and believe the love God has for you?
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me. Thank You for allowing me to know and believe Your love. Forgive me Father when I turn to the love of the flesh and the world. Perfect love is Yours. I confess that Jesus is Your son and I pray to love from there. Amen
