Today’s Scripture:So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13 ESV:
The greatest of these is love. I love how Paul reminds us we really do not know all things about God but we are to abide or live in love. 1 Corinthians 13:9 GWT states: Our knowledge is incomplete and our ability to speak what God has revealed is incomplete.
Only when Jesus returns will we know fully. Until then we will have faith, hope and love with the greatest of these being love.
Love has fulfilled the law. We are released from what we know in our heads and we can face everyone and everything in our paths today in love. May we try this today and see the world through the eyes of love and see how the world looks.
Have you ever experienced the power of God’s love? Can you live there?
Today’s Prayer: LORD You are love. I praise You for Your Spirit of love. Open the eyes of my heart LORD so that I may see You, everyone, and everything today through Your lens of love. Thank You for freeing me from having to understand all things and allowing me to live in love today. Above all else today help me to see love and share love today. Amen

Thanks so much, Tom, for this beautiful post. Yes, recently I have come to understand the power of God’s love. I feel as if my heart and soul have been revived. I don’t fear any longer that it will leave. I suppose it is a deeper understanding, or maybe just a gracious gift of the Lord He has given me after many years of asking for it … the assurance of His love … to be completely known and fully loved … yes, that is powerful! Powerful blessings to you!

Thank you Heidi and I praise Him that You have come to know the power of His love. When all is said and done and we stretch the limits of our understanding and our abilities we can rest and recognize that His love was there all along. We are all wired that way and I pray we can live in his love more instead of wearing ourselves out looking for a love elsewhere that always brings us back to Him. Blessings and love!
