Today’s Scripture: As for me, I said in my prosperity, “I shall never be moved.” Psalm 30:6 ESV
At times it seems I can feel David’s heart in the Psalms. Just maybe this is because we share the same joy. As David, I have come to know that God’s joy follows darkness. I have lived it and continue to trust God to be the source of joy, peace, and love.
Joy, peace and love are treasures of God’s prosperity. As Psalm 30 states, we always have hope in God’s joy coming in the morning. I have come to know and trust that God is the source of a prosperity this world cannot offer.
The LORD does answer our cries for help. We can count on His love for us more than we can count on the rising of the sun and moon. I shall never be moved from this prosperity.
May we praise God for being our helper and tell others of the prosperity we have come to know.
Today’s Prayer: Father God I praise Your name and thank You for being my helper. Thank You for Your prosperity. LORD I pray to live from Your prosperity forever. Lift my praises so others may too know Your love, Your peace and Your joy. I shall never be moved from Your joy and Your prosperity. I praise You and thank You LORD for Your mercy and love. Amen

Thanks for this reminder of the Joy that follows darkness, Tom. I’ve been in the darkness a few times in my life and couldn’t imagine that joy would ever return. But it did. He is faithful.

I am convinced that the joy we have found in the darkness are the treasures we have to give to others who need this hope. We can replace the unimaginable with a testimony of hope and praise. Out of our prosperity of joy we can give in abundance to others. Blessings as you share your joy.
