Today’s Scripture: The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. John 10:10 ESV
The way and life of Jesus shows us abundant life. I find peace in knowing that the life of Jesus shows us the way.
I continue to see Jesus, the Father, the Spirit and myself in a new way; in Jesus’ way. He tells us He is the door John 10:9 and as we go in and out through Him we find life. I know I can trust Jesus, the Word of God, to continue to show me the way.
Jesus said He was the way and that He was in the Father and the Father was in Him. Living through Jesus we come to know the Father’s abundance.
I am relieved to know that I do not need perfect understanding to worship a perfect God. I just need to follow Jesus and learn from His life.
Do you learn more from the life of Jesus or from His death?
Today’s Prayer: Our Father in Heaven thank You for also being in me and allowing me to be in You. LORD teach me how to live through Jesus. Help me to apply my heart to understanding and trusting You for Your abundance and fullness. Amen

“Abundant Life”–now yer talkin’ my language, Tom! I’m really lovin’ these affirmations–do you teach a class on them? Excellent post–again. God bless you BIG–love, sis Caddo

Well thank you sis! I have never taught a class on them. It is just something God spoke into me @ 5 years agop where I began harvesting affirmations as I read His Word. Then around 22 months ago someone suggested blogging…this is as far as I have gotten with it….seek Him in prayer in the morning and then write about the affirmation he lays on my heart that day…would love to teach a class on the treasure hunting some day…the abundance is in the finding and not in what I write….if you know what I mean! That is the abundant joy I truly want to share. God bless you ABUNDANTLY and I appreciate your KIND words with A BIG HEART OF JOY:)

True, the abundant treasure is in the discovery of God’s Word–however, He gifts certain folks with an ability to draw it out, and put it simply for folks like me. What a blessing for all of us that someone encouraged you to blog–I never even dreamed this could be such a powerful adventure. We have “church” available to us 24/7–without leaving our homes; and the connection with wonderful brethren. I’m excited everyday to turn on my computer–BIG!!

Amen sis! Wonderful blessings and definitely what gets me out of bed in the morning with wonder in what God will reveal through all of us each day. He is so faithful and we are truly blessed to be fed by the gifts of others and to learn from each of our journeys with Jesus. Much more like the early church (only without geographical limitations)with the the true heart of love and giving of gifts! BIGtime daily bread! MUCH love and learning!

Oh, I LIKE that–we’re like the early church, without geographical limitations! Way Good!
