Today’s Scripture: I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. John 15:15 NIV
Do you have a friend you can ask anything? Are you sometimes silly around your friends?
I caught myself asking Jesus a silly question this morning. It was more comfortable than asking any of my earthly friends. I sensed no embarrassment in asking. I really wanted to know what He did in this situation. We are not talking deep theological issues here.
Just a simple conversation between friends; how thankful I am to have a friend in Jesus. I am not sure what surprises me most the fact that I have come to this place with Jesus or the fact that after writing this blog journey for almost four years that I have never affirmed that I am a friend of Jesus.
How thankful I am that Jesus has shared everything He learned from the Father to us. He still shares everything with us; even our silliest non-sensible things. Go ahead and ask Him, He wants to be your friend.
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for Your Son Jesus who came to show us the way. For coming to share everything He had learned from You. I am thankful LORD that Jesus continues to teach me. Jesus, thank You for being my friend; teach me to be the kind of friend that You want. Amen

This past year I have come to know Him deeper than ever before and I am so grateful that He is my friend no matter what! Lord, I pray that You give people a personal encounter with Your Son Jesus so that they will know “What a friend they have in Jesus.” Amen!
Praise the LORD Debby! His friendship and the indwelling of the Spirit keeps getting better and better! Deep blessings
I am so grateful for that friendship with HIM–and yes, Jesus and I have silly and trivial times, great days that I hold as dear as the more momentous ones. HE is Wonderful (and not just His Name). God bless you abundantly today, Tom.
Thank you Sis! What a friend indeed. So wonderful! Blessings in your friendship with Him.
The first thing that came to my mind was the old hymn, “What a friend we have in Jesus”.
What a great reminder of what should be our dearest friend.
