Today’s Scripture: “You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified.” Matthew 26:2 ESV
As Jesus prepared the disciples He has prepared us. The disciples certainly didn’t know the details or comprehend what Jesus was saying to them. But He said “you know”.
All they really knew is that they were with Jesus and trusted that He would prepare the way. That is all we still know.
We are told that when Jesus said one of them would betray Him; ALL the disciples asked “Is it I?” So what did they know?
Peter thought he knew how he would react as he compared himself to others but he really had no idea, did he? But Jesus knew. He knew the cock would crow and He knew He would rise and go before them to Galilee. But they, we, can not see that far. Jesus knows and we only need to know His way.

Today’s Prayer: Father God, Your love and Your Son has shown us the way. LORD we praise and thank our risen Savior who still guides us today. I place all my trust in knowing You LORD. I lay down my understanding to know You. Amen

“All they really knew is that they were with Jesus and trusted that He would prepare the way. That is all we still know.” I can so relate to this. 🙂 No matter how we decipher things we cannot grasp it all, but rest assure God is in control and the Lord shall keep our soul.♡
