Today’s Scripture: Psalm 139:6 ESV: Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it.
In Psalm 139:6 my soul feels that the LORD is too wonderful for me to understand. Psalm 139 is full of wonder.
This morning I asked the LORD to search me and know me. Yet, here in Psalm 139 I am reminded that He has already searched me and knows all of me.
As I read these words I am reminded of my praise for God. So many things to praise Him for that are, well, too wonderful. I can grasp that I am praising God for even those things I cannot or have yet to consider. God’s hand guides me and holds me in those things I face today and those things I have yet to face.
God knows and I praise Him for what is known and unknown to me. God is wherever I am and wherever I am yet to go.
Too wonderful, I know; can you praise Him for the wonder yet known?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, I praise You. Thank You for searching me and knowing me. You already know if bring You glory or whether I am lying down in hell. You know and I praise You wherever I am and wherever I will be. This knowledge and You O LORD are too wonderful for me and I praise You in all of this. Amen
