Today’s Scripture: John 14:20 ESV: In that day, you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.
Ok, some could say I am obsessing over John 14 this week. But I did come to a day where I came to know that the same God and the same power that was in Jesus Christ was in me. Just as we had to experience Jesus in the flesh it is almost like we have to experience God in our flesh to believe it too.
God the Father came to earth in the form and flesh of Jesus Christ to show us and explain to us how this life works. Jesus was trying to explain this to the disciples back in John 14:10 that the Father was speaking through Him and doing His works through Him. Well guess what, the same Father that was in Jesus is in us. He can speak through us and do His works through us too!
How? We have The Helper. Jesus tells us here in John 14, imagine that, about the Helper who was going to help all of us understand. The Holy Spirit of God is our Helper and He dwells with us and is IN US!
Are you willing to accept that God is in you? May we let Him speak and work through us.
Today’s Prayer: Our Father who is in heaven and in us, I praise Your name. Your majesty and trinity is beyond my understanding but I thank You for allowing me in You and You in me. LORD, please speak and work through me. Help me to live this life through Your Holy Spirit. Please remind me of everything Jesus came to teach us and continually remind me that all of these things are in me for Your purposes. Amen
