Today’s Scripture: 2 John 1:2 NLT: because the truth lives in us and will be with us forever.
There is such comfort in “forever”, isn’t there? Grace, mercy and peace are found in the truth and love of God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ.
We are instructed to walk in this love here in 2 John and to love one another. Not only does the truth live in us but we are to live in the love of this truth. As we walk and live in the truth of Jesus we will reflect His love.
Loving right is better than being right. We know the truth, and the truth will be with us forever. Jesus came in the flesh to give us His love and we will live in it and it will live in us forever. Our instruction in 2 John is to live in the teachings of Christ and not to go on without them.
Will you live in the truth forever?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for Your Son Jesus and the love and commandments He brought to us. Help us to rest, live and walk in His love. LORD, live in us and through us today. We will confess our love for You and Your love will confess Yourself through us. Amen
