Today’s Scripture: You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield. Palm 115:11 ESV
Should the world around us ask “Where is their God?” like they did here in Psalm 115:2? Do we give God all the glory?
In Psalm 115:8 we are told that those who make idols become like them. No voice, no vision, no hearing, senses or movement. Idols and things of this world rob us of our voice and trust.
Praise the LORD and give Him glory that He is our help and our shield. He gives us a voice, He gives us vision and the senses to praise Him and share with others that our God is here. Praise Him and trust Him to show Himself.
Can you tell a story of how you trusted God and He helped you? Share that the next time you find a friend needing advice. They will know your God is real, present and to be trusted.
Today’s Prayer: LORD, thank You for being alive. I give You all the glory and I give You all of my trust. Help me to share how You have proven that I can trust you. Forgive me when I have trusted in my understanding or idols. I pray I glorify You and share how You are the only one we can trust and offer Your help and Your shield to others. Amen.

Trust in the Lord is one of those things that is easy to say but hard to do. I join you in praying for His glory to be revealed. Thanks Tom
EXACTLY Bill! I experienced this yesterday and knew the LORD was reminding this morning that although I don’t have answers to help someone GOD DOES and to just remind others what He has done for us and to TRUST Him!! All of our idols and riches do us no good. Trust is easy…but like your Titanic blog today…what do we do when the ship is going down??!!
Trust! YES, so crucial! Thank you, Tom, for this beautiful and powerful reminder!
Lord God, You alone are my Rock and my Salvation;
Lead me away from idols and from every temptation.
Mold me more like You each passing day and hour;
Rejoice I do in Your love and in Blessings You shower!
Thank you Caroline, His is our Rock and our Salvation!
AMEN! We shall trust in our Rock and our Salvation ALWAYS! God bless you, dear brother and friend!
