Today’s Scripture: A psalm of David. Let all that I am praise the LORD; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. Psalm 103:1 NLT
It seems odd to say we have to “let” all that we are praise the LORD doesn’t it? “Let” can be defined as allowing, permitting or granting occupancy. Psalm 103 in many translations states Bless the LORD, O my soul. This is a blessing from our soul that is beyond our understanding but not beyond our allowance.
LORD, help me to let ALL that I am, the parts I can comprehend and the parts I can not, praise You. Just as we can not understand the height of Your heavens above the earth nor how far the east is from the west we can not comprehend Your greatness or the greatness of Your love for us.
We are but dust LORD but You are in these earthen vessels and You are great! Let all that is in this dust praise You!
Will you let all that is in you praise the LORD?
Today’s Prayer: LORD, thank You for the soul You have given me. Bless the LORD, O my soul. I pray my soul blesses You and praises You in all that I am. I am but dust but I am also filled with You. LORD help me to let you be blessed fully in who I am. Help me to trust and know You are drawing my soul to Yourself. Amen

I agree, it is with my whole heart that I want to praise Him, yet so many times the things that I say and do are not actions of praise. For that reason, I am truly sorry and repentant. But… may my praise be a sweet aroma to God.
Amen Patsy!! I join you in asking for forgiveness and I am truly sorry too for when my actions are not praising God! I am also thankful that God welcomes our sacrifices as sweet aromas. Blessings and praise!
