Today’s Scripture: Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; Romans 12:6 ESV
You have something right now that someone needs and I am encouraging you to give what you have. Most times we don’t think we have much and think we have to get to a certain level before we can give.
So not true. In Romans 12:3 we are instructed to give in the measure of faith we have been given. This does not say you will one day reach a level of faith you can give but give in the measure you have already been given.
What each of us has been given is different. Yes you and I are gifted with different things but gifted nonetheless. This affirmation is my gift to you and I appeal to you today to give what you can.
What do you have today you can give to others? You do have something, use it.
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for Your people, Your body. Thank You for gifting each of us to serve the other members of Your body. Embolden us to give confidently and boldly. Keep evil and doubts far from us and remind us we have enough in You. Build our faith. Amen

Boy Tom, I fall into this all the time…I reason with myself that I have so little to offer someone. There’s another person out there somewhere that could really give …not me.

You give more than you realize but it is certainly a lie that we don’t have a lot to give. Each of us in our own way have what it takes. I am thankful for what you give me! Keep on giving!
So very true what you said we do have something right now to give to others. But often times I hear people say well when I get enough of this or that than i will give. If we wait till we have enough to give than we won’t give because we would of forgotten all about it. Jesus said Give out of what you already have and than He will multiply what you give.
Thanks Desiray! God certainly blesses us abundantly when we are obedient to His call. He calls us to plant the seeds or help prepare the path for His Kingdom!
