Today’s Scripture: For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 1 Corinthians 15:3 ESV
Paul shared here in 1 Corinthians 15 that he was giving away what he had received in Christ. Shouldn’t we give away our testimony of grace?
If we believe Christ was raised from the dead and we have experienced His grace shouldn’t we tell our story? Our story in Christ is enough. Many times we are afraid to witness to others because we think we need to be biblical scholars or masters of apologetics. Not the case, just give away what Christ has given you.
Paul knew he had a checkered past and even persecuted Christians but he said “by the grace of God, I am what I am”. This was his testimony; you and I have our own.
Don’t be afraid to share. As Paul said he was willing to die daily. Risk everything you have to give what you have. The promises of Christ are true and your efforts will not be in vain.
Are you willing to give away what you have been given?
Today’s Prayer: LORD, thank You for the life and testimony of Jesus. Thank You for giving me grace. Use my testimony Father to bring to life Your gospel for those You place in my path. Give me the courage over death to give Your life. Amen
