Today’s Scripture: But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice. Psalm 68:3 KJV
How do you approach God? Do you rejoice because you are happy or are you happy because you rejoice?
Sadly, too many of us are looking for a new answer to happiness. It most likely is not how we approach our problems but how we approach God.
David knew it here in Psalm 68; if we go to God with an exceedingly grateful and joyous heart and a song of praise on our lips, we will find true joy.
Do we want to be jubilant with joy? We will if we show and feel a lively and triumphant joy before God. Praising Him we find the joy, power and strength He promises us.
Do you expect to find joy before God? True joy is found by being joyous before God.
How do you express your rejoicing before God?
Today’s Prayer: Almighty God, I come before you with a joyous heart. Your Spirit within me shouts praises to You. Please put Your songs of praise in my heart and on my lips so I will forever sing before You. I celebrate in Your presence and I am thankful for Your overwhelming joy. I thank You for Your goodness and pray to help those who need to know Your joy. Amen
