Today’s Scripture: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us). Matthew 1:23 ESV
And they shall call His name Immanuel, which means, GOD WITH US. Jesus came to teach us that God is with us and He came to live among us.
Joseph was being assured that Jesus was conceived in Mary by the Holy Spirit. What has the Holy Spirit conceived in you? Do you need some reassurance? God is with us now and if you believe the Holy Spirit has conceived something in you, go with it now even if you know not how.
Can we grasp the NOW-ness? Can we grasp God being with us? Being with God is not some future event. He is with us now. God is both out there and in here. His light shines upon us, in us and through us right NOW.
Just as Joseph trusted the message of the LORD we can too. We can proceed today knowing God is with us. What has been conceived in you?
Today’s Prayer: LORD, thank You for not only being my Heavenly Father but my Father who is with me now. Father thank You for sending Jesus to us so we could grasp His oneness with You and to teach us You are with us now. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit who has conceived a vision in me and I pray to boldly go as He has instructed me. LORD, please teach me how to live in and from Your Holy Spirit. Amen
