Today’s Scripture: Ezra 1:5 NLT Tyndale: Then God stirred the hearts of the priests and Levites and the leaders of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin to return to Jerusalem to rebuild the Temple of the LORD.
Ezra makes it clear that it is the LORD who stirs our hearts: from stirring the heart of King Cyrus to write the proclamation to rebuild the temple to stirring the hearts of those to return to Jerusalem.
Do you believe God is still in the heart stirring business? I do. Reading through several translations of Ezra 1:5 I concur that God stirs us, moves us, inspires us and raises our spirit. What has Yahweh stirred in your spirit?
Have you been inspired to join with others for a common purpose? Have you been moved for something specific? A couple of key reminders are also shared here in Ezra.
God will also stir those around you to assist in your journey. We can give according to our ability and give all we can according to the power we have been given. We are to praise the LORD with thanksgiving knowing He is good and His faithful love for us will endure forever!
Go where the LORD has stirred your heart; trusting and praising His name. How is God stirring your heart?
Today’s Prayer: LORD, thank You for stirring my heart. Please continue to move my heart where You want it. Inspire me to go where You want me and to help others go where You are sending them. I praise You with thanksgiving and proclaim that You are good and Your faithful love endures forever! Amen

Thanks Bill. I am not sure either but know He is and pray we continue to go towards that still voice and enjoy the support of those around us. Blessings and clarity to you!
