Today’s Scripture: and all of them drank the same spiritual water. For they drank from the spiritual rock that traveled with them, and that rock was Christ. 1 Corinthians 10:4 NLT
He is with us wherever we go. Do you ever find your perspective is wrong? Reading this scripture this morning where Paul was reminding the Corinthians about those who had wandered in the desert. They all ate the same miraculous food and they all drank this miraculous water.
I did always believe that God released the water through a miracle with Moses but felt He did it to some random rock that happened to be along their way. The rock was not random and neither was the journey. This verse reminded me that no matter where we travel Christ is there. He may be disguised to us but He is there.
He is here. Can you see Him? When we need the miraculous water it will come forth. God is faithful and He makes sure our rock, the Christ, is always with us. May we run the race we have today and go where He is leading us knowing that when we thirst He will provide. Do you think Jesus be there when you need him?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for Christ, my rock who provides. Compel me LORD to run the race You intend for me. Help me to run straight to the goal with purpose in every step. Give me the discipline and self-control needed. Help me to think of what is best for others and for me to do whatever I do to glorify You. Amen

The Scripture, especially Psalms, is filled with the thought of God is my rock. I like the one that says, “Take me to the rock that is higher than I.” Good word today Tom.

Christ IS with us if we have accepted him. I read the first part of the chapter where it talks about the cloud also. The cloud currently is the Holy Spirit. Praise God for sending Jesus and the Holy Spirit to guide us each day!
Thank You Kimberly for digging further and sharing this! This same Jesus this same Holy Spirit is in us! What can He do through us if he can do such miracles through rocks and clouds?? Use us Father God and produce as You wish!
