Today’s Scripture: Ephesians 1:1 ESV; Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, to the saints who are in Ephesus, and are faithful in Christ Jesus:
Paul said I am “an apostle of Christ Jesus BY THE WILL OF GOD.” Who are we by the will of God? Who are we allowing to define us?
For most of my life I allowed other people to define me. Many times we allow our productivity or accomplishments to define us. Whose standard do you want to live up to today? God has a will for each of us and we too can be defined by Him. When we send our greeting to others who do we say we are?
May each of us be confident in saying I am who I am by the will of God. This is not an excuse to be who we are in the flesh but who we are in Him and His Spirit. Are we fulfilling His will for us? Be bold and courageous today and meet others in confidence knowing you are defined by God.
Today’s Prayer: God thank You for caring for me. Help me to clearly see Your will and who I am in Your will. Father God You alone define who I am and guide me in fulfilling Your will. Use me Father, show me Your ways so I fulfill Your promise. Thank You for Your spiritual blessings and for choosing me. Amen
