Today’s Scripture: Isaiah 61:3 NLT: To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the LORD has planted for his own glory.
The Spirit of the LORD is upon us right where we are. We have been given beauty, joy and praise to be planted in others. The life we live now can bring God glory.
As we seek after God, He gives us a double portion instead of shame, instead of dishonor we rejoice in where we are. In our land we have everlasting joy, good news to share with others. As we share God’s glory others will grow into great oaks the LORD intends.
What is your good news? I know my recovery path and these Affirmations of God have been given to me from God to give to others. Your path and heart has been planted right where you are for God’s glory.
We each have a ministry and opportunity to tell what the LORD has done for us where we are. Others need encouragement. Will you give it?
Today’s Prayer: LORD Almighty, thank You for Your Word and Your Spirit. I thank You for drawing my heart and my mind to You. You make yourself clear and I pray that You will use me to preach the good news to those who need the message You have given me. I know You have planted me here and I will give You glory by sharing Your good news. Use me LORD. Amen
