Today’s Scripture: Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from trouble Psalm 107:2 ESV
Have you ever said “I said all that to say this”? Psalm 107 is so jam packed with affirmations of God’s truths for us but I can not proceed without doing what verse two calls us to do. “Let the redeemed of the LORD say so.” I am redeemed and I am saying so to you and everyone who will listen.
It has been over three years that the LORD spoke to me to search for affirmations in His Word. I feel today that He did this so I could tell of His redemption of me. It is not about the affirmations I write, this is my story of how He redeems me. Not only did He redeem me from alcohol and a lack of a spiritual relationship with Him, but he continues to redeem me from my afflictions that bind me.
What is your story of redemption? Have you said so?
Today’s Prayer: LORD, You are so good and wonderful. LORD, thank You for redeeming me. Thank You for hearing my cries. Thank You for lifting my fainted soul. Thank You for showing me the way to go. I profess it is You who redeems me and I pray You use me to encourage others to tell their redemption story. Amen
