Today’s Scripture: But I call God to witness against me–it was to spare you that I refrained from coming again to Corinth. 1 Corinthians 1:23 ESV
I have not fallen off the face of the earth. I apologize to my faithful friends for my extended absence from Affirmations of God. Each year my current vocation takes me on a long stretch here where I lose my time to write to you. I should have warned you but I always think this year will be different. Here we are again and I recall why I haven’t been able to write to you in this same period in the past.
All is good and over the past few days as I drive I praise the LORD for all of you; those who have been with me a long time and those who have followed Affirmations of God over the recent days. If you came here for “daily” affirmations I apologize for my inconsistency.
Please remain patient and know that God is our witness. I am blessed to continue to see visitors from around the world visit this space even though I am not present. How reassuring it is to know the God is our witness. It is the LORD for which these affirmations are claimed and I know I can trust His witness.
Blessings to you all; do you trust that God is your witness?
Today’s Prayer: LORD, I call to you and praise You for being my witness. Your witness is true and You bring to us those who both build us up and those who we can build. All praise and glory are Yours. I thank You for Your blessings upon my brothers and sisters in Christ. Amen

Thank you Desiray…just long hours that keep me away. I thought I could do better this year but just too many late nights and early mornings. Look forward to getting back into the swing soon. I still have a few more days of this and then will be away resting up without access but all will be back to normal after the first of the year and I look forward to catching up with your ministry:) Blessings!

Thinking of you and praying too, as you call to God and praise Him for His faithful witness. So glad you are okay and just doing what you have to do! I always think that I can do both too, at times when something takes me away . .. but it never works out quite like I plan. haha! I really was blessed at how people just kept coming to Affirmations, while you were away. 🙂 God bless you and all that He is doing here and in your life!
Thank you Deb and I know you are diligent and passionate about your ministry! God’s evidence and His provision is comforting. Thankful to know that the seeds He has planted for His kingdom through us do not require our tending but His. He helps us spread then provides others and circumstances to prepare the soil, thin the thorns and to provide the fertile covering for their paths. How comforting to know that it is the LORD we witness and is the LORD who witnesses for us. Love and blessings my sister as you spread the seeds He has given you.
Tom, thank you for any and all time you have to witness! The quality of your affirmations remind me to seek God first, even when the quanitity may suffer for your present vocation. You are a blessing once a day or once a week! You are in my prayers.
