Today’s Scripture: I will live among you, and I will not despise you. Leviticus 26:11 NLT
God promises to live with us as we put Him and obedience to Him above all others. When we live with Him and for Him He blesses us with peace, rest and fruitfulness.
Just as God spoke through Moses to the Israelites His promises stand today. His warnings also stand. When put other things (idols) before Him and do not love and obey His laws we rob ourselves of His blessings.
His blessings are there whether we are turned to Him or not. As He told those long ago, whether they are in the land or not the Sabbath would continue. Thank God for His love and His faithfulness towards us. He is always there for us when we turn to Him.
When seeking His Word and living for Him, He lives with us. Living with God is where we find true peace, rest, courage and blessings.
God is living with us. Are we living with and for Him today?
Today’s Prayer: LORD God, thank You for promising to live with us. Thank You for Your Word that came to us in the flesh that allows us to live with You. LORD, forgive me when I put other things before You and fail to recall that You are living with me. I praise You for the true peace, rest and prosperity You have given me and I love living with You. Amen
