Today’s Scripture: Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” Acts 3:6 NIV
What you and I have in Christ is what is needed by someone. Oddly, most times we are too busy seeking what we do not have and those seeking do not even know what to ask for.
The lame man had settled into thinking money was what he needed. At three in the afternoon Peter and John were going to pray at the temple out of what they did have. I am sure they could have chosen to spend this time seeking to gain silver and gold they did not. At this intersection of life, Peter gave what he did have and the lame man was healed.
If we give what we do have in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth the broken will find healing.
Right now we possess what is needed to heal others; will we give what we have in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth?
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father I come to You in prayer to thank You for what I do have. Please forgive me for spending more time seeking what I don’t have rather than giving what I do. LORD, I have You and the grace You have given me. What I have found in Jesus, I give. I pray Your healing is multiplied in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Christian Affirmations 4 Life
I don’t know how you do it, Tom! You have this gift of finding such amazing truths that are sometimes overlooked–life-changing Truth!
Thank you Julie! In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I give what I have. This is all I want to do. Ever since the day the Spirit of the LORD spoke into me that “every affirmation you will ever need is found in my word” I have been on a journey and like you I have found His Word and His promises to be without end. Each of His words given to us have meaning and depending on where we are and the needs of others the healing words become evident not by me but by Him. I cherish your encouragement and thank you for giving what you have as I have found healing in your words too! Blessings and giving.
This scripture comes to mind as I read your post today. John 14: “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works…” Thanks for reminding us of this great truth today, Tom!
Thank you Debby for sharing this scripture and yes, what a great and unfathomable promise that we can trust in. May we go and give from what we have and believe. I pray we follow The Way of Jesus. Blessings as you give!
