Today’s Scripture: But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 ESV
I have all I need; more than enough. With God’s grace I am complete. So complete is God’s grace that I struggle to peer beyond it now. So many days His word fills me with love, joy and hope yet all seem to pale at this moment in the light of His grace.
Is it because those of us who are forgiven much truly are stunned by His grace? His grace makes me thankful for my weaknesses. As this verse states it is here in my weaknesses that I have come to know God’s power. Like Paul I will boast of my weaknesses because it is here where the power of Christ has come to rest upon me.
Do you truly believe that the Lord’s grace is sufficient for you? Have you found the power of Christ in your weaknesses?
Today’s Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your grace. I cherish Your grace and welcome Your power. I thank you for my weaknesses that have opened my soul and life to Your power. Rest upon me Lord. In You I am complete. Amen

Tom: if I did not believe God’s grace was sufficient I would truly be lost (and I don’t mean salvation…that is a given).
Thanks Bill
His power is made perfect in weakness…for some of us, that leaves a lot of room for God’s power.
I suppose weakness has a silver lining 🙂
I hear you Robin! I believe as odd as it seams that weakness is clothed in splendor. Silver lining and pure gold buttons! Rich! Thanks for stopping by!

So powerful Tom! It is true God meets me at the point of my weakness! It is how I come to know who He truly is!
So true jelillie! It truly is there at our weakest and lowliest places where we are humbled enough to really come to know Him. We can boast of our weaknesses and share how God’s light shined on our darkness to make it our brightest light! Thanks!
