Today’s Scripture: The crowds going ahead of Him, and those who followed, were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David; BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD; Hosanna in the highest!” Matthew 21:9 NASB
The LORD has arrived. Yesterday was Palm Sunday when we recall and celebrate Jesus’ entry intoJerusalem. Jesus entered on the colt as prophesied hundreds of years before by Zechariah 9:9.
Isn’t it interesting that Hosanna means “save now”? He is here and He still saves now doesn’t he? Wouldn’t it be exciting if we welcome Jesus into our every day with such fanfare? Every day we can announce He is here! Can we show it to the world around us that we are excited and are singing Hosanna in the Highest?
My pastor, Jonathan Howes pointed out something yesterday that I had missed previously in Matthew 21:10: And when he entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred up, saying, “Who is this?” I am thinking we have the good news every day. The LORD is here and He saves now. Shouldn’t we stir up the whole city every day to where they say who is this Jesus? Let’s sing loud enough to cause a stir.
Today’s Prayer: Welcome LORD! Thank You for being here now. Thank you for saving me. I sing Your praises. Father God, use me today to cause a stir in my city so that others say “who is this Jesus”. May I sing praises to You and sing thanksgivings for Your saving me. LORD strengthen my faith so I show what I believe and produce the fruits of Your Kingdom. Amen

This made me think of the prediction in Jeremiah 32:40 ” And I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good for them. I will put a desire in their hearts to worship me, and they will never leave me.”
God gives us the desire in our heart to worship Him!

Thank you Kimberly and it is a wonderful desire isn’t it??!! Don’t you love that statement ” I WILL NEVER STOP”. What comfort in our God!!

Tom…I love this: “The Lord is HERE and He saves NOW”
I’m learning (slowly) that the here and now is the only place I can worship Him. It’s a gift He gives me and when I pay attention I can give it back to Him by giving thanks.
And I agree with you in prayer: Father, strengthen my faith so I will produce the fruits of your kingdom.

Thank you Robin! Great to hear from you and yes, may we thank Him. Here and now!
