Many times over the past four years since this Affirmations of God journey began I have wondered what I am supposed to do with this joy God has given me. If I could only share the joy I find day after day. Taking His Word and affirming it as who I am has taken me to new places.
My hope and my prayer is that others will catch a glimpse of the joy I have found. I have found His voice in His Word and in His Spirit. Why? Do I just want to consume these blessings? No, not at all. I believe that we are to treasure His commands and this is just the way He has revealed Himself to me.
I do not want the affirmations themselves to be the important part. I pray others will come to know God and His joy in new and personal ways. The joy is found in the uncovering of the treasures of God’s Word that speaks specifically to us. I do not want to just provide affirmations but provide one way that others too will experience this joy in Christ. Then I will be complete.
Where do you find joy and how can you share it with others?
Today’s Prayer: God, thank You for Your joy. I pray I can share the joy You have given me with those You intend. I pray Your Word and Your Spirit will be revealed so others will know and love You. My heart burns with desire to have others know this joy. Spread Your joy to those You desire me to touch. I love You and them. Amen

Tom, I was just praying about cultivating an atmosphere of joy this morning. Your blog has spurred me on to think what I can do to inspire joy in others. I guess it is about using what we have to accentuate the goodness of Christ and to dowplay the darkness of the enemy isn’t it? I will have to meditate on this for a while! Thanks!!!
God is amazing isnt He Jelillie as to how He can use each of us to confirm His Word and His Spirit. I am continually blown away how He can plant a thought in our hearts and minds as we pray and then confirm it or answer it with a brother or sister or His Word. May we share what we have seen and heard with our own eyes and hearts at how He is Good to us and gives us joy, peace, comfort and strength. He gives freely what we all need and want. Bless you!
