Affirmation of God: My God is huge.

Today’s Scripture: “He is the God who made the world and everything in it. Since he is Lord of heaven and earth, he doesn’t live in man-made temples, Acts 17:24 NLT 

Our temples, our minds and our boxes can not contain our God. As hard as we try to limit Him with our expectations and our understanding He is just busting lose; everywhere. My prayers are so small at times. I strain to feel for my next move. 

However, should I be straining to feel my way around my little box/life or should I be feeling for Him? In Acts 17:27 “His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us.” 

Hmmm, His PURPOSE was for us to seek after Him and feel our way toward Him and find Him. HE IS NOT FAR FROM ANY ONE OF US.  His purpose is so much larger (huge-er ?) than ours. He is so close, can’t you just feel it?  In the next verse 28 we are told we live and move and exist in Him. Want to live huge?  Seek His purpose. 

Today’s Prayer: Father God, my mind can not fathom You. You are beyond my comprehension and forgive me for my small expectations. You Father are so much larger than my immediate decision and my immediate step. You give life and breath to everything and only You determine my boundaries. God I am feeling for You. Please open my eyes and expand my reach to feel for You. Amen
