Today’s Scripture: Praise the LORD! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting. Psalm 147:1 ESV
Do you see fitting reasons to praise God in your current circumstances?
A funny story made this real to me this morning. At day break I had to return to look for my car keys lost while cutting a large tract of land yesterday evening, I asked the LORD to help me. Close to where I pulled my camera out to take a picture of God’s setting sun laid my keys. Both times it seemed fitting to praise the LORD!
Psalm 147 reminds us that the God who determines the number of stars, covers the heavens with clouds, who prepares the rain for the earth and provides for the needs of all the animals also provides for us. He heals our broken hearts; He protects us and blesses our children. These are just some of the many blessings that make it fitting to praise the LORD.
What is fitting for you to praise the LORD for today?
Today’s Prayer: Father God I praise Your name. Thank You LORD for Your greatness and for Your care for us. LORD I praise You and thank You for Your creation and for Your hand upon my life. LORD help me to be forever mindful to give You praise. Amen

Oh goodness, there are always so many things to praise Him for, that it’s hard to choose something to put here in the box. Here goes: I praise Him that He teaches through so many “ways and means”. Just now I was reading another blog, and got a helpful tip from Him on how to improve on seeing others through eyes of His Grace. I know I have an issue with that, and despaired that I’d never be able to change–but God sees our heart and our weak humanity, and when He knows we really do WANT to change, He keeps working with us, bringing us help from whatever source may work. I love that about Him!! Praise His Name forever. God bless you and the fam, Tom–love, sis Cj

Thank you sis! Yes, when we WANT Him and the changes that come with Him He is so faithful. I wrapped up Psalms this morning and do not know where He will lead me tomorrow but I do know I leave with praise in my heart and I learned from you that God lives there. As long as we have breath may we praise the LORD! I am praying we are one of the many ways that we can bring others into the presence of Him and His praise. BIG Love!
