Today’s Scripture: Hebrews 10:23 NLT: Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.
We can complicate things can’t we? Hebrews 10:23 reminds us we can trust God to keep His promises. He promised you and me that when Jesus was sacrificed we were made holy.
We were given the Holy Spirit that convicts us and guides us. He replaced the sacrifices that did not change hearts. Our hearts have been changed forever because God has put His laws there and written them on our minds.
I love this scripture in the New Living Translation because it confirms for me that I will continue to hold tightly to the hope and faith I have in the LORD and I will affirm it constantly. Yes, I am holding fast to my faith and my faith tells me I can trust God.
Do you trust God?
Today’s Prayer: LORD, thank You for loving me. Thank You for offering Jesus up for me. I trust that You have made me holy. Use me to spur others on to affirm their faith and to hold tightly to it. Thank You for writing Your laws in our hearts and on our minds. I trust You. Amen
