Today’s Scripture: For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.” John 6:40 ESV
Jesus is life, now and eternally. He told the woman at the well in John 4 that if she asked for the living water He would give it to her. Have we asked Jesus for His living water? Can you kneel now and just ask Him for it? Do you believe?
The scriptures we read bear witness to who Jesus is and it is He who gives us eternal life. Jesus is the bread of life whether we believe it or not. If we believe it we receive it. We have both the scriptures that tell of His miracles and our own personal testimonies that are witnesses to Him. Do we go and tell others what He has done for us?
Crowds will gather and seek because of what Jesus has done. As we seek after Him He fills us. God’s nature is to feed His people. Through manna, through Jesus and through belief in Him He continues to feed us with the bread of life. All we have to do is look to Him and believe. Do you?
Today’s Prayer: Almighty Father, thank You for the bread of life. I do thank You for Your living water and Your Son. I want to be healed and filled with Your food Father. I do believe that Jesus is Your Son and was given to me so that I may have eternal life. I will worship You in Spirit and in truth Father and rejoice in the light of Jesus. Thank You Father for drawing me to Jesus, for teaching me and for giving me life. Amen
