Today’s Scripture: And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am on my way to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there, Acts 20:22 ISV
Compelled and bound by the Spirit Paul knew he was on his way. He did not know what would happen when he got there.
I can relate to Paul. I feel compelled and even bound by the Spirit but quite frankly have not gone very far. I haven’t gone because I could not see what would happen or how I could even get there or really exactly where I was going. Can you relate?
In my Celebrate Recovery meeting this week the speaker shared a quote that also hit me: “I cannot do God’s job and He will not do mine”. The Spirit of God compelled me to this Affirmation of God job over four years ago and I am still bound to it.
The Spirit compels me to go and take this message further. I do not know what will happen to me there but I am on my way.

Today’s Prayer: Father God thank You for Your Holy Spirit that compels us and bounds us in Your glory. LORD, I confess that I know I am bound to give the message You have given me. I do not know what will happen when I get there or even where “there” is. I am trusting in Your Spirit and I am on my way. Please continue to guide me and lead me to where You desire. Amen

Ohhh Mr. Tom. The Lord tells me to “go” and most of the time I am as lost as a fish out of water but He always places me where He wants me or guides me in doing what He wants me to do. His will, not mine.
Amen Sue and thank you…we can feel so lost, can’t we?! But He is so faithful. I pray I really seek Him with all of my heart, soul and mind and clearly see, hear and know where He is guiding and doing what He wants me to do. I join you in His will and not mine! Blessings as you go!
