Today’s Scripture: Daniel 10:19 ESV: And he said, “O man greatly loved, fear not, peace be with you; be strong and of good courage.” And as he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, “Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”
Ok, I know this angel of God is speaking to Daniel but I am reminded that God greatly loves us. Both when Gabriel came in an earlier vision and now in this time the angel says, “O Daniel, greatly loved of God, listen carefully to what I have to say to you.”
This angel then tells Daniel that from the first day he began to pray for understanding and humbled himself before God, that his requests had been heard from heaven. From our first day our prayers are being heard as well as we seek understanding and as we humble ourselves before God.
Like Daniel, I faint in the face of God’s glory and plans but He continues to strengthen me as he touches me and speaks to me. I know God knows exactly what the future holds. I know also He greatly loves me and I will humbly continue to pray.
Do you need to be reminded that God greatly loves you and that He is hearing all of your prayers?
Today’s Prayer: Mighty God, I faint at the thought of end times but know that You see clearly all that will transpire. I humbly ask You to prepare my heart and strengthen me to share Your promises. Thank You God for loving me and for Your Word, Your angels, and Your prophets. I trust in You and Your strength and continue to pray. Amen

Christian Affirmations 4 Life
Tom,
Thank you for such frank words that God’s plan for the end times can cause me, too, to feel “faint.” Frankly, downright scared… but I also know that His plan is glorious and I pray to be prepared and strengthen by Him. I am so glad to not be alone in this feeling.
I thank you, too, for such wonderful affirmations emails! My cousin, Cindy, made me aware of your posts and I have been gleaning from them each time I read them.
Thanks Katy for replying and I am glad you have been able to stop in! Thanks Cindy for sharing! Katy, I am not an analytical person and have found great peace in recent readings in both Revelation and Daniel that I will do as the angels and Daniel did and just fall down before God and praise and pray thanksgivings to Him. No matter what happens (and yes some are scary and beyond my understanding) I am with Him and He is with me. Short persecution for eternity with the Father! We are weak but He is strong! Bless you and I hope to hear from you again!
Amen!
How comforting to remember that our God does know all things – past, present and future. He loves us so much and works ALL things for our good.
Thank you, Tom, for another encouraging affirmation!
Many Blessings in Christ,
Caroline
Thank you Caroline! There is comfort and peace knowing His will will be done!
You’re welcome, Tom! Thank you again!
Yes, such comfort in knowing that not even one of His Words will ring empty. May the completion of His Will be in our prayers daily…and may we remember the infinite good He has in store for us!
God bless you!
I’m comforted knowing God knows the future…He is not surprised. And yes Tom, I need to be reminded that God hears my prayers. ‘from the day Daniel started praying…God heard’
I lose heart when things seem quiet – but you remind me that I can’t always see what God is up to. He’s promised to hear my heart’s cry. I choose to believe that .
I leave here, as always, encouraged.
Thank you
Thanks my dear friend. I know hearing God especially when your heart has been heavy for Sara can be difficult. You taught me that we hear God in all kinds of ways, things, people, scripture, etc. and we all certainly heard Him through the life and witness of Sara! I am always encouraged by your visits. Have a blessed day!
What an encouraging word today, Tom. Thank you.
Thank you Dustin!
