Today’s Scripture: May you be blessed by the LORD, who made heaven and earth! Psalm 115:15 ESV
I am blessed beyond the measures of man. The blessings of the LORD can not be measured by flesh or by this fleshly experience. Just as our minds can not fully articulate a LORD who made heaven and earth we can not define His blessings. Spiritual blessings are deeper and wider than our understandings but not beyond our grasps.
What is required of us to receive such limitless blessings? The Psalmist in 115 reminds us that it is not about us but it is about giving God all the glory. As we fear Him and trust in Him we are given impressions of Him. He is our help and our shield. His Spirit provides blessings worthy of Himself.
As we praise Him all the day long we experience His blessings and His Spirit. How do you explain being blessed by the LORD?
Today’s Prayer: I praise You LORD! I am Your servant and I give You all the glory! I praise Your name and thank You for Your Holy Spirit. LORD You bless me beyond my understanding and my worthiness. LORD I know You are worthy and I pray You help me share Your blessings with others. Amen

‘Morning, Tom! I think the first powerful key/tool/weapon/principle/promise I learned, after God’s BIG and Bright revelation and my deliverance (Mar 2011), was that HE “inhabits the praises of His people”. I sure needed Him to inhabit my home/circumstances, so that was a discipline/habit I took up right away–it made a big difference, and paved the way for me to learn and receive MORE from Him. Sometimes it is a “sacrifice of praise”, but even then it redirects our focus back to Him–and things will begin to turn around. Well, here I am, just jabbering away! God bless you and your family BIG–love, sis Caddo
Wow Sis, I LOVE “HE in habits the praises of HIs people”!!! Many times I realized that praise was all I had to offer in prayer. It was there that I seemed to feel closest to Him and now I know why! God lives there so that is where we find Him. Did you learn that on your own or did you read that somewhere? I knew what I experienced in praising Him but I never thought of it in those terms. If we want to be with God and experience Him then we can get there in praise. Thank you so much for share this BIG, HUGE concept to me. I am going to visit with God…I praise You LORD! Thank You for welcoming us into Your presence and for sharing Your sis with me. I am blessed…BIG! Love you sis:)
Oh, Tom–I’m not that brilliant to learn it on my own, no! He does give me little revelations (that are BIG to me!), but mostly I learn from great teachers. But I’m sure there’s a scripture verse, which that comes from–that He inhabits our praises. I’ll have a look-see, and bring it back to you later! Like you, some days all I know is that I need His Presence, and I need it NOW–so if I’ve got nothin’ else, I just praise Him like crazy, and He shows up!! Way Cool, our Daddy God!
My blessed sis, I tried to reply on my phone yesterday but don’t know if it went. I too will look for that verse on God inhabiting praise. You hit me deep on that one and I LOVE IT! I too found that He showed up when praise was all I had…I just could not describe it so eloquently. Way cool indeed. BIG time!!
Psalm 22:3–“But You are Holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel”–and then it links back to Deut 10:21 which is also Really GOOD!! This is the NKJV, by the way.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your study and sharing! Really good and I will check them out. I so appreciate you, blessings and learning!
You’re SO welcome–blogging has become much richer for this sharing, learning, and back and forth discussion with a few of the Jesus bloggers. I’m not “just a poet” anymore, SO hungry for HIM!
Amen!
Thank you and welcome Russell! I am thankful you have joined this journey:)
