Today’s Scripture: This is now the second letter that I am writing to you, beloved. In both of them I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder, 2 Peter 3:1 ESV
Thank you Peter for reminding me that this God breathed Word was written to me. Deep abiding love is found in the words written to you and me.
I must remember that these words are filled with the promises and love of God for me. God’s love and His Word are unconditional and compassionate. We are given the desires of God and the way of salvation.
This world and our flesh will continue to lead us astray yet the Word of God reveals to us the heart of God. Our spirits come alive in the promises written to us. This Word reminds us that we are the beloved of God.
I am thankful for God’s patience and salvation found in these words. God has these words, this law, for us that protect us from being carried away with the lawlessness of man.
Do you take God’s Word personally?
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love and Your Word for me. LORD, in You and in Your Word I find the life You have promised to me. Help me to live from Your Word and from Your love. Forgive me Father for when I turn to the lawlessness of man. Use Your Word to remind me of Your promises and help me to share Your Word with others. Amen
