Today’s Scripture: Ezra 6:9 NLT Tyndale: Give the priests in Jerusalem whatever is needed in the way of young bulls, rams and lambs for the burnt offerings presented to the God of heaven. And without fail, provide them with the wheat, salt, wine and olive oil that they need each day.
God provides what we need each day. Throughout this time in scripture through Ezra and Zechariah God continued to show His provision. He showed His Spiritual power and strength.
There is no difference today. These scriptures took place 600 years before Jesus made His triumphant entry yet here we were promised that our king was coming and humbly riding on a donkey’s colt. We were promised this place of safety and hope.
Our hearts can rejoice and we can count on Him making us strong in His power. He is the fountain of life that cleanses us and has proven He can even change the attitudes of others towards us. When we seek His will and wish for things under His authority He provides whatever we need.
Have you witnessed how God provides whatever you need, when you need it?
Today’s Prayer: God of heaven, thank You for providing us with what we need. I trust in You and believe in Your Word. Help me to turn from the immoral customs of today to worship You. Give me Your strength and Your power to work with great energy and success to share Your love and mercy. Amen

Thanks Tom, God has been reminding me lately that He is my provider and He has promised to make my “cup run over”. With all the economy panic in the air it’s easy to forget that sometimes. Thanks for allowing Him to use you to remind us!
Thanks jelillie, He does provide and I know us lay people are to be His vessels for providing for His teachers and priest. Praying we are all faithful and give what He requires.
He is faithful! Blessings to you!
God has provided for me more than once. My cup runs over actually. Thanks for the good reminder Tom.
Thanks for spilling over into me and so many others Bill. Thank you for giving out of your abundance and I am thankful God gives us what we need.
Good reminder, Tom. He gives me whatever is needed … and He knows exactly what that is!
Thanks Dustin and welcome back sounds like you had an amazing trip!
