Today’s Scripture: for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. Philippians 2:13 ESV
Do we really grasp how God is working in us now? In Philippians 2:6 in the ESV it states “who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,” and in the KJV it stated “thought it not robbery to be equal with God:”
We can not grasp this concept in the 150 words I have here and I am not sure we as a people or a church have grasped this since Jesus came to set the example for us.
Even though we may not grasp it yet; God works in us and His Spirit indwells in us.
I was also in Matthew 5:3 this morning and Jesus’ first beatitude is that if we are poor in spirit the kingdom of heaven is ours. Ours now, God in us now, can we grasp how we are to live as Jesus today?
Today’s Prayer: LORD God, help me to grasp Your presence in me. Your kingdom come Your will be done today here on earth as in Heaven now. LORD I want to live in You as You live in me today. I can not grasp this in my egotistical mind but Your Spirit within me is You. Amen

Thank you for blessing us today with the hugeness of Jesus in us. God bless you, Tom, as He just keeps showing you Himself!
Thank you Deb! Many blessings in the work He is doing through you!
Wonderful word for us, brother Tom. I’m amazed all the time–first, at how far God has brought me (by working in me), and 2nd, how far I’ve yet to go. I don’t despair over the latter anymore–I have Jesus confidence!! Faith in what is yet unseen. God bless you–love, sis Caddo
Amen sis! No longer anxious and confident that He will complete His work through us. May we fix our eyes on the unseen for it is eternal, for us and for those we love through Him. God’s blessings!
Ya know the older I get the more I realize that when I don’t see God working in me, that’s when He’s doing the most on the inside…and I agree with your prayer: Lord help me grasp your Presence in me-help me to live (abide) in you today as you live (abide) in me…
Amen Robin, may we come to know the fullness of the knowledge of dwelling in Him as He dwells in us. As we live in this dwelling I pray we live the fullness of His hope and His desires. Dwelling in Him we will complete His will and His kingdom. Blessings and living in Him now.
