Today’s Scripture: When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Colossians 3:4 ESV
God in Christ is so much more than we can imagine. I am continually amazed through this affirmation journey how God reveals His abundance. God’s Word and His love is filling and encouraging.
The more we seek the more we find. Searching Him for His treasures provides continual blessings. Why O LORD do you have me here and why O LORD do you love me so? Each and every time I seek Your Word You fill me and expand me. Here in Colossians 3 I came to write about the peace that comes from Christ but there is so much more than peace.
When Christ is our lives our lives are so much more. Each and every day filled with Him fills us with thanksgiving and His character. He provides our new selves. He changes us. The writer of Colossians continues to remind us that we must “let” the peace of Christ rule, “let” the word of Christ dwell in us richly. Letting is to allow.
Are we allowing Christ to be our life today?
Today’s Prayer: LORD God, thank You for Jesus. Thank You for Your Word. Help me to allow you all of me. Fill me LORD with Your Word, Your love, and Your character. Replace my old self with Your new self for me. You LORD are my life. Amen
