Today’s Scripture: This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men. Titus 3:8 NKJ
Titus 3:8 is the biblical justification for these affirmations of God. What are we called to affirm?
To show humility to all others and to be reminded it is God’s grace that saves us. It is God’s mercy and the regeneration and renewal He gives us through His Holy Spirit that He so generously pours out on us.
We affirm these things constantly to remind us of the hope we have in Him. We affirm these things constantly to share this hope and good works that benefit all others.
In God’s Word and His sayings we find our hope.

Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for Your Word and for Jesus who poured out Your Holy Spirit upon us. LORD, help me to affirm constantly Your Word and to know and share Your hope of eternal life and Your constant renewal. Help me to do good. Amen

My first affirmation every morning is “The Lord is my shepherd! I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures (provision). He leads me beside the still waters (peace). He restores my soul (heals my mind, will and emotions). He leads me in paths of righteousness for His namesake (He is making me better so that my life will praise Him and bring Him glory).
