Today’s Scripture: Isaiah 45:18, NKJV- “For thus says the LORD, Who created the heavens, Who is God, Who formed the earth and made it, Who has established it, Who did not create it in vain, Who formed it to be inhabited: “I am the LORD, and there is no other.”
The God and Savior of Israel is my God. This is the heritage I have been taught, this is the Bible I read. This is the God who reveals Himself and sends His Spirit to me. He Himself protects me from all other gods.
The heavens and the earth amaze me and separate God from all other gods for me. When I am looking to God and the beauty He creates, I am kept from other gods this world promotes. Although much of the world rejects Him, He is the One who speaks the truth and declares what is right.
His evidence and His fruits are beautiful. I am praying that all people of the world turn to this God written about in Isaiah 45. I am praying that these words do not return but encourage others to bow their knees to Him and confess that He is their LORD.
Have you found the righteousness and strength of this LORD?
Today’s Prayer: LORD, God of Israel, You are my God. I have no other gods before You. Please keep all other gods of this world far from me. I am bowing my knees to You and declaring who You are. I am praying now that these words not return and find a heart to plant a seed that will sprout into beauty beyond our imagination. Much like the beauty of the heavens and earth that You have created, I am praying for Your beauty to be revealed among the living. Show Yourself and prove Yourself over all other gods. Amen
